Paul is one of the Staff Editors at Matthias Media. He is married to Cathy and has three fantastic kids. He loves student ministry, reading, writing music and playing the saxophone, and is looking forward to meeting Jesus face to face.
So often we hear of people who look to nature to find God. They will worship in the church of the Great Outdoors.
It is good to see the Glory of God in nature, but, like the Psalmist, we cannot stop there. We also need to see the perfection of His Word and our own sin.
This is a great Psalm and a good reflection of it.

With the apparent ever increasing emphasis on ‘worship’ ‘glory’ and ‘presence of God’ in churches, especially in singing, one would expect an increasing grief over sin and repentance. Yet I suggest there seems to be the very opposite - a denial of sin even.
