Connecting in your street Sandy Grant

Thanks for the tips & encouragement, Sandy!
Along similar lines, my wife and I are planning to have non-christian international students come over to our place for a “fair dinkum” Aussie Christmas. Shrimps on the barbie, game of cricket in the local park, etc etc… We’ll also give a short gospel presentation explaining who Jesus is and why we celebrate Christmas. For some international students its an isolating& lonely this time of year, being away from family overseas and a number of them choose to do a “summer semester” of study. We thought having something like this would be a way we could show hospitality to outsiders, build relationships, show them abit of “Aussie” culture and most importantly, present the gospel. Pray that we’d be loving toward them and would clearly present the good news of Jesus!

Hey Matt - good idea.

Would it work to do one or two of the most famous carols? If not you singing them, to have it on the CD player? You could explain the Christmas story that way too.

They swarmed loud, uncouth about the temple, their cheap wholesale sunglass heads thickplotting under maladroit silk replica wholesale sunglasses hats. Their full slow wholesale oakley sunglass eyes belied the words, the gestures eager and unoffending, but knew the rancours massed about them and knew their sunglass wholesale zeal was vain. Their eyes knew the years of wandering and, patient, knew the dishonours of their wholesale sunglasses china flesh. Mr Deasy looked down and held for a while the wings of his nose tweaked between his tote bags fingers. He went out by the open wholesale handbags porch and down the gravel path under the trees, hearing the cries of voices and crack of sticks from the playfield. The lions couchant on the pillars as he passed out through the gate; toothless wholesale tote bags terrors. Still I will help him in his handbags wholesale fight. A coughball of laughter leaped from his handbag wholesale throat dragging after it a rattling chain of phlegm. He turned back quickly, coughing, laughing, his wholesale sunglass china lifted arms waving to the air.
