Thank you for your Blog!  I’ve just dipped my toe in this morning.

I wonder if the issue isn’t so much that we’re not answering the right question (although I’m sure what you say is true) but we struggle to be asking and answering the right questions in the right context.  I live in a society where community has been superseded by networks and thus my ability to ‘love one another’ whilst living amongst unbelievers has diminished.  Asking and answering the right question outside the context of a loving community just makes the job a lot harder and can turn questions about life into an academic debate.  The challenge I face is befriending other non Christian men with other Christian men, something I’ve found much harder as I’ve grown older.  I need to pray that my God would move what I know in my head, to a heart led motivation to live counter culturally, and never to stop answering the right questions with the right answers and trying to live in a way that means I can do this more frequently in the best context. And pray I can find other Christian men with the same heart.

Just stopped by the Sola Panel after a long while. I’m glad you shared that thought. Just confirms to me that preaching through books is the way to go!
